To reproduce the sound of the original as authentically as possible, we’ve divided both the vocal parts and the guitar parts exactly as Status Quo did. Two singers, each with their own distinct vocal style, take turns—sometimes singing lead, sometimes providing backing vocals. The guitar parts are divided in the classic way: Francis handles the lead guitar, while Rick plays the distinctive intros and the driving rhythm guitar.
