The inner courtyard was also sold out – despite a completely different style – on the final evening, Saturday, August 10. The Devotees impressively demonstrated why Depeche Mode is one of the most successful music groups in the world.

The three Hungarians brought the sound of the British cult band with the hard synthesizer sounds and partly dark, but always driving motifs as well as the charismatic voice of Dave Gahan amazingly well to the small stage and provided goose bumps for the increasingly enthusiastic audience.

“If you closed your eyes, you wouldn’t be able to tell whether it was the original line-up or not,” was how one enthusiastic fan, who had already seen Depeche Mode in concert, summed it up. The music of the 80s and 90s in particular was omnipresent that evening and after two hours without a break or even an announcement, the evening was over.
